Privacy policy.
Last updated: September 8, 2026. Thumbly is designed to work without an account. When you enter a public YouTube URL, the downloader extracts the public video ID needed to request the selected public thumbnail image. We do not store downloaded images on our servers, sell that URL, or require personal profile information to use the core tool.
Like most websites, our hosting and security services may process basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, request time, and error information to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose reliability issues. We do not use the downloader to access private videos or authenticated YouTube data.
Third-party services may apply their own policies when a requested thumbnail is served from their infrastructure. If you contact us by email, we use the information you provide to respond to your message. We may update this policy as the site changes; a revised date will appear at the top of this page.
